Salisbury Hillside Caravan & Motorhome Club Campsite
Salisbury Hillside Club Campsite sits in lovely rolling countryside, much of it an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's a peaceful, rural spot, nicely tucked away, and only about 9 miles from Salisbury one way and Andover the other. The site spreads over several levels, so you can pick a pitch in open woodland glades where wildlife is right on your doorstep. We enjoyed the quiet seclusion there back in mid-2016, with plenty of scope for gentle walks or cycling nearby along the Test Way, Clarendon Way, or the charming countryside cycle paths over the Downs. A good place for a relaxing break in the motorhome.
Final Verdict
It's a site where some of the pitches feel like they've been squeezed in between the trees, which is lovely if you want to feel more like you're in a natural setting. This was a one night stop over to give us a break on our way back to Sussex. Probably will not stay there again.
