Blackshaw Moore club site
Buoyed by the success of our first trip to Chichester, we were eager to get back on the road and explore more of what the UK had to offer. With no jobs or daily commitments holding us back, we felt free to choose places that simply sounded appealing. Blackshaw Moor Caravan and Motorhome Club site caught our eye as a peaceful spot on the quieter southern edge of the Peak District, perfect for a relaxed few days in beautiful surroundings.
Peak District Peace
The site itself was attractive and well laid out, with spacious, level pitches on terraces that gave lovely views across the landscape. It proved an ideal base for gentle walks, especially to the nearby Tittesworth Reservoir and nature reserve, where we enjoyed spotting wildlife and stretching our legs. We were also within easy reach of The Roaches, that dramatic gritstone ridge, and the charming market town of Leek just a short drive away. It was another step in realising how wonderful this touring life could be.
